The Department of Hindi 

                                   The Department of Hindi was started in 1983. The Faculty participated and presented papers in International and National Conferences, Seminars and Workshops. The department also organized Guest Lectures, National Seminars and various competitions for the benefit of the students.  The faculty members published many papers in various Journals and Magazines. For every 3 years the syllabus is changed keeping in view the changes in  University syllabus. It is also revised at regular intervals to  prepare students  for examinations like UPSC., APPSC., NET, SLET etc,.

VISION:

• To develop excellent proficiency in Hindi Language so that students can think and express their ideas in Hindi.
• विध्यार्थियों की प्रतिभा को अति उत्कृष्ट बनाने मे सहायक बनने, एवं उन्हें स्वयं के विचारों को व्यक्त करने की इच्छा जागृत करना।
• Make them to use combined knowledge of all letter sound correspondences syllabification pattern and morphology.
• पत्र ध्वनि पत्राचारों के संयुक्त ज्ञान का उपयोग करने के लिए। शब्दांकन पैटर्न और आकृति विज्ञान |
• The student will have an accurate understanding of linguistic concepts related to the target language.
• छात्र लक्ष्य से संबंधित भाषाई अवधारणाओं की एक सटीक समझ प्रदर्शित करेगा।

MISSION:

• To enhance their ability to communicate effectively and acquire the pronunciation of native speaker by means of spoken Hindi.
• विध्यार्थियों की बोलचाल संबंधी भाषा क्षमता को बढाकर प्रभावशाली उच्चारण से परिचित करवाना एवं देशी वक्ता के रुप में प्रचलित होना।
• To strengthen student’s ability to analyze, interpret and evaluate all forms of literary expression.
• विध्यार्थियों को मजबूत एवं इस काबिल बनना कि वे अपने विचारों को इससे से सही तरीके से व्यक्त कर रखे एवं साहित्यिक भाषा का भी मूल्यांकन कर सके
• To be creative personalities in the fields like Radio, Television, H.R, Railways, Tourism guide, Translator, constitutional and Journalism.

विद्यार्थिओं को अपने क्षेत्र में- जैसे दूरवTणी, दूरदर्शन, जनसंचार माध्यम, पर्यटन, मार्गदर्शक, भारतीय रेलवे, अनुवादक, मानव संसाधन, संवैधानिक स्थलों में अपना योगदान दे सकते हैं |

GOALS

LIBRARY

The Department has a Library with good collection of Books, Journals, Periodicals and Literature. These books are helpful to the students for extra reading beyond the prescribed textbooks.

TEACHING METHODS:

• Language Teaching Philosophies that can be interpreted and applied in a different way in classroom.
• The teaching method incorporates elements such as reorganisation of visual and sound responses to external stimuli and environment.
• Teaching procedure is focused on improving communicative competence in Hindi.
