Department Overview:
The Department Of Electronics was established as an Under-graduate Department in the year 1986. Electronics today stands at the forefront of the rapidly expanding horizon of Science and Technology.
The ease, the precision, the sophistication and the flexibility provided by Electronics in all walks of life and industrial systems has made it a very important subject of study. It is indeed considered as a catalyst of scientific and technological progress. The Department has well qualified teaching and non-teaching staff with excellent Technical skills who work with dedication and Determination.
The Head Of The Deaprtment acts as convenor for Calendar Committee, House Journal Committee, Quiz Committee and also member of various other committees. The other teaching staff also actively work as members for other committees like Magazine committee, Quiz committee, etc.,
Every year the Department conducts MIND SPARKLE an inter-College Fest, E-waste crafts exhibition displaying various crafts made with Electronic waste materials by
students enhancing their creative and innovative skills. Also the department encourages students to update their technical knowledge day to day by
conducting Project Exhibitions regularly to upgrade their knowledge in the subject concerned.

CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT
The curriculum is periodically updated keeping in mind the latest advances in the field of Electronics. It aims at providing students a strong practical knowledge in Electronics and at the same time, emphasizing Application Oriented subjects in Electronics.

SYLLABUS
The syllabi at B.Sc., level are designed in such a way that the students gain a strong foundation in Electronics and its applications. Our students have the unique opportunity,  unlike their counterparts in many other colleges, of studying instrumentation at UG level itself.

AIM : The aim of the Electronics Department is to provide students with a solid technical background and Scientific capabilities in the design, development, manufacturing of electronic devices and Gadgets.

VISION:
To produce technically upgraded electronics graduates and to bring out the professional and innovative skills in the core areas of Electronics.

MISSION :
1. To provide quality education in the domain of Electronics.
2. To create knowledge of Fundamental Principles and Innovative technologies through learning, teaching and focusing on Project Management.
3. Enable / Train students to develop skills to solve technological problems.

OBJECTIVES

 Students are encouraged to do mini-projects involving Embedded systems and its applications. At the UG level, under the restructured pattern, the first year
students have the benefit of being trained in soldering.
 Able to solve problems through analytical thinking in their own or related fields.
