Overview
The Department of Computer Science was started in 1989. Information technology has revolutionized over the years and changed the face of the World. It has found wide range of applications in different spheres of life. With an increase in the widespread usage and popularity, computer education has become inevitable for the common man.
The steady and rapid advances in computing methods shorten the life of tools and technologies prevalent today. Therefore, the department aims at giving a strong foundation in Programming and Problem-Solving techniques in Computer Science to the students and make them adaptable to changes.
The Department comprises 10 fully air-conditioned Computer Laboratories with 380 systems and latest computing facilities with sufficient power supply backup. The Department of Computer Science takes care of Software & Hardware requirements of the entire college. Students of Computer Science are motivated to be innovative in their thinking while being strong in the Core Knowledge of Computers and its applications. They are exposed to latest technology through Projects, Hands-on Trainings, Virtual Classes, Discussion Forums, Interactive Sessions, Hackathons & Codefests.
