Culturals 2025 – 2026

·         Presented a Classical Dance and another Dance Performance that showcases the evolution of music and dance in the Telugu film industry from the 70s till present.

·         On the auspicious occasion of Rath Yatra held by Sriman Chakradhari Prabhuji on 29th June 2025, we had the honor of presenting a vibrant folk orchestra roadshow from Anjaneya Swami Temple to Sitamma Vari Padalu

·         Participated in Keertanalu program conducted by Iscon on August 17^th 2025

·         Performed a Street Play “Hechharika” on the occasion of Dasara Samskruthikotsavalu 2025 at PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science on 18-07-25

·         Our  college Singing Team Participated and Won 2^nd Prize in Folk Song Singing competitions in the event “Dasara Samskruthikotsavalu” at MBVK on 19-07-25

·         Participated in the “Navonmeshikotsav “ competitions conduced by Siddhartha Institution on the occasion of 50 years celebration in the events Folk Dance, Folk Orchestra, Classical dance and Indian Song Singing and Won Prizes

·         Participated and Won Prizes in the Krishna Tarang 2025 organized by Krishna University from 4-12-25 to 06-12-25 in Cultural, Literary and Fine Arts Competitions. Also Won 3^rd Overall Championship

·         Presented Folk Dance (Chekka Bajana) on the occasion of Freshers Day in our college on 29-12-25

·         Participated in the “Mahila Fest” organised by Tarunu Tarangalu on 8^th January 2026 at PB Siddhartha college in the events Folk Dance,(Chekka Bhhajana), Mono Act, Patriotic Singing Folk Singing  and won 3^rd, 1^st , 2^nd and 3^rd  prizes respectively.

·         Presented a Color themed Dance and Chekka Bhajana at PB Siddhartha College on the occasion of Golden Jubilee Celebrations of Siddhartha Institution in the presence of Honourable CM Chandrababu Naidu on 10^th January 2026.

·         Presented Folk Orchestra in the roadshow “Drugs pai Dandayatra” on 27^th January 2026 in the presence of Home Minister V. Anitha and other police forces.

·         Celebrated College Day with Vibrant Performances of Folk Dance(Garaga), Retro Dance and Farmers themed Dance.

·         Presented Folk Dance(Chekka Bhajana) in the event “ All India Inter-University Net Ball Women Tournament organized by and at Krishna University, Machilipatnam on 15^th February 2026 in the presence of VC Koona Ramji.

·         Presented Folk Orchestra in the Grand Sports Meet organized by Taruni Tarangalu in our clg on 20^th February 2026

·         Presented Folk Orchestra and Folk Dance in the event Band Jamming Festival organised by Lokesh Cultural office at Mangalagiri Lakshmi NaraSimha Swamy Temple on 27^th February 2026.

 

CULTURAL ACTIVITIES 2024-2025:

·      I am very proud to say that our college has the best cultural team in the State and since 2006 our cultural team represented Acharya Nagarjuna University & Krishna University at South Zone and National Youth Festival presenting various forms of folk dance of Andhra Pradesh, and other events in Indian Group Song, Theatre Arts and Folk Orchestra at Zonal and National level and brought many laurels to the institution.

·      Cultural team performed Folk Dance and Folk Singing in the District level Yuvajanotsavalu organised by the government of Andhra Pradesh and won 2nd Prize for Folk Singing.

·      The cultural team secured 3rd place in Folk Orchestra in Inter Collegiate Youth Festival conducted by Krishna University, Machilipatnam from 10th to 13th Nov. 2014.

·      In the South Zone Inter-University Youth Festival sponsored by the Association of Indian Universities and Ministry of Youth Affairs. Govt of India our team stood in 5th place in Folk dance at Chennai, TamilNadu.

·      bagged 1 place in Folk Dance and II place in Folk Song in the competitions conducted by Govt of AR at District Level and selected for State Competitions

 

·      secured I place in Folk Dance conducted by Govt of Andhra Pradesh and selected for Nationals held at Gowhall, Assam

 

·      gave a performance at the opening of 26th Junter National Athletic Meet and got appreciation frem Member of Parliament Sri Ravepati Sambasiva Rao and Hon'ble Speaker, Sri Kodela Siva Prasad

 

·      Our team was invited by Tourism Department of Vijayanagar anı District to give a performance

and got appreciation from Member of Parliament Sri Ashoka Gajapati Raju

 

 

CULTURAL ACTIVITIES 2017-18:

Performed Folk Orchestra on the occasion of Independence Day at Police Parade Grounds, VJA on 15-08-2017.

Performed Folk Orchestra on the eve of Goreti Venkanna, Singer visit to our college on 23-08-2017.

Performed Folk Orchestra on the eve of Anti Ragging Day at our college on –12-07-2017 and got applause from Sri Gowtham Sawang, Commissioner of Police Vijayawada.

Performed Folk Orchestra on the occasion of Golden Jubilee Celebrations of The Krishna District Lorry Owners Association at A Convention Center, VJA on 30-11-2017.

Performed Folk Orchestra at P.B.Siddhartha College, VJA on the occasion of Magic and Music Fiesta on 9-12- 2017.

Participated in KRISHNA TARANG- 2017, Inter Collegiate Competitions organized by Krishna University and held at Andhra Loyola College, VJA from 4-12-2017 to 6-12-2017 and secured the following prizes.

Participated in South Zone inter University Youth Festival held at Hindustan University Chennai from 18-12-2017 to 22-12-2017 and secured I place in Folk Orchestra and got selected for National Inter university Youth Festival. Performed Folk Orchestra at 36th National Rose, Horticulture and Organic Show – 2017, organized by the Govt.

Andhra Pradesh on 24-12-2017.

Performed One Act Play – Ooru Bhangam at J. P’s Nataka Sabha organized by J. P’s Theatre at Venkateswara Vignana Mandir, Guntur on 14-01-2018.

Participated in Nandi Natakoshtsav organized by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh held at Tenali on One Act Play – Ooru Bhangam and awaiting result.

Performed Folk Orchestra & Folk Dance at Acharya Nagarajuna University on the occasion of 100th Annual Conference of The Indian Economic Association on 29-12-2017.

Performed Folk Orchestra at Visakha Utsav organized by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh at Visakhapatnam on 30-12- 2017.

Participated in National Inter University Youth Festival held at Ranchi University, Ranchi, Jarkhand from 16-02- 2018 to 20-02-2018 and III place in Folk orchestra.
